I have one of the most comprehensive photographic collections of acid house as I worked for The NME, THE FACE, i.d. and Mixmag during this period of immense change in the UK.
I photographed the bands of the time, The Stone Roses, The Happy Mondays, Oasis, 808 State, Primal Scream, The Chemical Brothers, A Guy Called Gerald and the DJ’s, Mike Pickering, Sasha, Laurent Garnier and Graeme Park. 
I also photographed the ravers, drag queens, fans, roadies, security and bar staff. I understood that I was witnessing an important pop-culture moment that would change the cultural landscape of the UK and the world forever.

My images have been exhibited in group exhibitions at The Venice Biennale, The Philharmonie de Paris, The Vitra Design Museum, Germany, Design Museum in London, The Museum Of Youth Culture, London and at the The British Culture Archive, Manchester.
