The painting of beautiful “Ladies” (仕女 - Shi nü) is a long-held practice in Chinese art. This collection blends the fashion of traditional Chinese Ladies with the modern world. 

As the daughter of two professional artists, I received a classical education and was immersed in the world of art, ancient history, literature, and philosophy at an early age. I studied Chinese Painting at university, and I am currently working on my Ph.D. 

I feel a connection to the women in this collection. My upbringing and education often make me feel very traditional, but I strive to adapt and grow every day. This modern age allows us to connect with everyone around the world. East and West learn from one another.  I value my traditions and heritage, but we must keep up with the times to move forward together.
