Mutated Apes circa 1972

Beginning in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, toxic waste was being dumped in a remote location of the Amazon Jungle. The waste was piled in the sun, eventually catching fire and spreading a colourful, but potent toxic gas. Almost all of the animals in the immediate area died. The ones that survived, evolved to protect the jungle from further intrusion. Poachers and militants became targets, and no more toxic waste was ever dumped in the jungle again. It is currently unknown if there are any surviving Mutated Apes, or if there are other mutated species out there…

The Mutated Apes collection consists of uniquely generated images with varying levels of rarity. The collection itself is limited, as there are currently only 69 known Mutated Apes.
