Muranam is a contraction of "Murano" and "Nam Jun Paik". I have always adored the magnificent work of the master glassmakers of the small Italian island of Murano! I also wish to pay tribute to the incredible work of Korean artist Nam Jun Paik, whose particularity was to distort the image of cathode ray tubes. I discovered this artist in 1993 at ELAC (L'Espace Lyonnais d'Art Contemporain) which was in the building of the Gare de Lyon Perrache, France. 
I'm a senior audiovisual technician, Art and Media Technology - I work at Euronews since 28 years.
