Emi Kusano reexamines these archetypal heroines, critically analyzing their impact on shaping gender and societal perceptions, and offers a contemporary reinterpretation of these narratives.
Kusano's artwork reveals the duality of magic and reality, mirroring her childhood memories with magical girls.
