ARCHIVISTS OF THE EPHEMERAL, NEVER OWNERS OF THE TANGIBLE.

We gathered four contemporary artists together at the Bakehouse Art Complex in the Wynwood Art District during Art Basel to create this unique hybrid IRL and web3 experience. Each artist is given 24 hours to create and display an 18 x 8-foot mural.  Each mural is lovingly captured in ultra-high-resolution photography and then painted over for the next mural to begin.  

NFTs, Web3 and Blockchain technology have created a global moment to consider what we value -  is it experience, is it ownership? As many dismiss the collection of images that could easily be replicated without any attribution or payment, the Impermanence Forever project is about creating scarce work that exists nowhere else, and never will.
