One day our family decided to adopt a pet -- a kitten. We all went to the animal rescue center. A small black cat greeted us resolutely. He was playful, small, lively, and sparkling black. 

That same day we named him Jacob and took him home. After weeks of feeding him and showing him affection, Jacob naturally became part of our family. We became immensely attached to him.

It was easy to see that Jacob gave us special attention. We felt that interacting with Jacob relieved our loneliness and stress and gave us cuddly warmth and sudden joy. Many times, he gave us familiar permission to pet him. 

Sometimes when playing outside, we observed our black cat hunting -- like he was a wild lion, a tiger or a cheetah.

I dedicate this NFT Collection to Jacob -- my sparkling-black cat who was part of our family for 12 years. Jacob, we love you.
