These are limited-edition (to 15) medium-resolution digital copies of works from my first big real-life solo art exhibition called “Heart Songs” which look place from 26 February to 16 March2024 in The McKee Gallery of The Suter Art Gallery in Nelson, New Zealand. It was my first foray into the new medium of alcohol ink - and mostly at a significantly larger size.

The title “Heart Songs” alluded to my gradual realisation that I typically produce my best work when I’m not actually trying - when I’ve managed to dumb-down my judging/careful mind and left my heart with the freedom simply to play.

With no formal training, I never consciously set out to be a “proper” artist; it just sort of hijacked me and took me along for the ride. I’m thankful to everyone who has shown interest in my work over the years, because I always get such a buzz when people love my work.
