EET is a fortune-telling experience on the blockchain created by internationally acclaimed artist Cai Guo-Qiang in collaboration with Kanon. Fusing ancient wisdom with cutting edge technology, EET is an oracle that communes with the cosmos to answer life’s deepest questions.

Users share their questions with the EET oracle in the initial texting interface and the blockchain responds in the form of two NFTs called GUA and EET Fortune, which will be dropped into the user’s wallet. One of the smart contracts encodes the question received as well as the randomness captured in the process and converts it into a GIF called GUA. Both NFTs mark the first time that a GIF image is generated and stored fully on-chain. All components of the EET smart contract system are 100% on-chain and 100% decentralized. No off-chain dependencies. No admin privileges.
