Ethereum offers every person in the world the right to ownership, regardless of who they are or where they live. Minting is how we exercise that right. It may seem like an awkward or alien concept today, but if onchain is the new online -- and it is -- then minting is the new call to action.

But it won't stop there. The permissionless and interoperable nature of Ethereum means that builders are free to expand and reinterpret this meaning. This week we happily added "Mint = Steal" to our web3 vocabulary. As Emerson said, "The mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions."
