"Flowerfro" is a collection of 20 photographed portraits featuring the hair, hands, lips and body of hand and body parts model Mekka A. White. 

My goal with this collection is to showcase the beauty of the natural growth of kinky hair, an afro, and how it is similar to a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I call this term Flowerfro! For the first 20 photos in this collection I've used red, black, green and yellow colored flowers as those colors signify the African race, and liberation. Hair has always represented a strong cultural identity which promotes: self-esteem, self-respect, a sense of belonging, and a healthy sense of pride.

My hope is that the audience sees each image as a representation of things that grow naturally beautifully.

This is my first NFT collection, with many more concepts to come.
