Birds and humans have much in common. 
Our lives are not only full of patterns and rituals but uncertainty, anxiety and fear. 
The bird - which is always on a journey to reach someplace warm - never knows what lies ahead. She takes off into the skies, into the unknown.
Fear is a constant: predators, weather, disorientation, fatigue and much more.
In life we need to create our own path, a new path which fits our journey and ours alone, always in the hope of meeting like-minded souls to share the journey. 
Most of the time as we look back, we will notice that we were surrounded by those who were on a similar path that joined us along the way. 
We find our flock.
When things get hard, just think of the birds.
Unconquered by fear, they take flight and soar. 
And what of our souls?
Will they make a similar vow?
To fly somewhere warm?
