These pieces are from a body of work i'd like to describe as a beautiful mistake. Serendipity if you will. This was actually my first time shooting in studio with my Minolta Srt 101. Despite properly setting up equipment & metering for perfect exposure, out of 36 shots only 6 came through. And they were all under exposed. So much so that i didn't believe i'd be able to salvage them. Keep in mind these were shot in color.  

Almost everything looks great in Black & White right? So i converted the files, played around with the highlights, exposure & contrast. Out of that i got these interesting images. This experience showed me that all is not lost. And there's always something, in what seemingly appears to be nothing.
