Thank you for choosing our digital ethanol tester. We developed this product to 
meet our personal needs for testing ethanol percentages. We needed a better and 
faster way to test ethanol than the industry standard, a test tube phase separation 
devise. As most of you know if you buy E-85 at the pump, it is only guaranteed to be 
between 45% and 84% ethanol (Southwestern Pennsylvania Area) possibly resulting in 
engine damage if your ECU does not have compensation based on a flex fuel sensor
input. 
To accurately use a test tube style tester the sample requires several hours with 
no agitation of the fluid to achieve complete phase separation, if this is not done you 
will get a false reading that is higher than the actual ethanol percentage.
