Images taken live at the Paramount, Seattle, WA, Halloween Night 10/31/1991. Nirvana takes the stage, and Karen takes her position in the pit. What is about to commence, is the only HD video performance Nirvana will ever record and Karen is the only photographer allowed to shoot. An inside look at this once in a lifetime performance, etched in the minds of those who attended, and available now for those who wish they were there. 

Seattle based photographer Karen Mason Blair built lasting friendships and was lucky enough to capture images of her music “family” – from Alice in Chains’ first session for Rolling Stone; to Pearl Jam’s first concert, Nirvana wearing Santa hats on "In Utero", Soundgarden’s first session with bassist Ben.  “We were all having the time of our lives” Karen explains. Recently got the cover of Nirvana "Live at the Paramount" vinyl 2019. The latest Nirvana album.
