As a professional commercial photographer, I have been accustomed to the literal representation of  objects. Whilst there have been opportunites for creative licence, the will of the client has dominated. As a creative, I am interested in many aspects of producing an image; beauty, aesthetic, meaning, purpose, history, philosophy, etc. So, it is natural for me to look for details in objects. Things that we take granted everyday. This is where I seek the beauty and intrcacy in the banal. 

This collection is my view and creative interpetation of the mundane, transforming them to Objet d'art. specifically, The Art of Banality.
