America Pastime is a collection of videos and still images created by Paul Druecke. The project was recently featured in the NYTimes. Druecke finds inspiration in the urban landscape during daily walks that combine foraging, chance encounters, low-key adventure, and constant searching. The result is a series of impromptu photo shoots focusing on other people's litter, Trashing as Druecke refers to it. The imagery feeds an evolving correspondence on the nature of value and human connection. Audience is an integral algorithm.
