I fell in love with Oxford when I read Thomas Hardy's Jude The Obscure as a teenager. I knew I wanted to study there, and eventually, I read Theology at Mansfield College, Oxford (1994-1997).

When I wrote my first novel, Stone of Fire, I wanted to weave my love of Oxford into the book. My main character (and alter ego), Morgan Sierra, is ex-Israeli military, but as the story begins, she is working in Oxford as a specialist in the psychology of religion.

Morgan's (fictional) office is just around the corner from the Bodleian Library, and I spent many weeks studying inside the Radcliffe Camera, which is part of the Bodleian. It also features as a virtual reality library for the agents of ARKANE, the secret agency I set my thrillers around.

This NFT was made with AI generative art tool Sudomake.art. I used a line from Stone of Fire about the Bodleian Library as a prompt. “The names of each School were written above the wooden portals, inscribed in an ancient hand, gold-leafed and stamped into thick oak, banded with copper.”

I combined the verbal prompt with one of my photos of the Radcliffe Camera.

The unlockable content is the ebook of Stone of Fire, readable on your preferred device.
