In 2011, I portrayed some of the first female auto-mechanics in Dakar, Senegal. Together with their male coworkers, they have been working relentlessly to fix outdated traditions, one car at a time.

A percentage of proceeds from sales of NMJOB-1 will be donated directly to some of the subjects in this series as well as the generous friends in Dakar who helped me realize this collection.
