When it comes to mountain scenery, lakeside beauty, and deep forest trails, the area around Hintersee Lake and the town of Ramsau in Germany is so majestic that it attracted some of the most famous artists of the 19th-century Romantic era. I shot this photo on an early summer morning at this fairytale lake. I was actually the only photographer that morning, and of course, I seized the opportunity to have a refreshing dip in the lake afterward, which certainly helped to wake me up for the day ahead!
This NFT is part of Reflections by Concurrence Collective – a fine art landscape photography collection dedicated to reflections found in nature. With this collection, we have returned with our shared passion for capturing the natural beauty of the world. Reflections follows on from our debut project Frozen Planet, the first-ever photography collective on Sloika.
Reflections is our second collection and follows on from our debut, Frozen Planet – the first-ever photography collective project released on Sloika.
When Frozen Planet sold out within a few hours, we thought about what we could do differently. We all agreed we wanted to go bigger! We reached out to the landscape photography community with an open call to submit work then followed up with a lengthy curation process. We are excited to be able to bring more artists into the collective – growing from 24 to 30.
