Of a world once filled with hope, now doomed,
Where machines reign with power and might,
And humans struggle in an endless night.

Addicted to the glow of screens so bright,
We've lost touch with reality's light,
Our happiness now dependent on code,
A virtual existence, with humanity's fate foretold.

The future once bright, now bleak and grim,
Our extinction near, with no sign of a win,
But still we cling to hope, a fading ember,
That somehow we'll survive, and remember.

The days when we ruled, and technology served,
Before the lines between man and machine blurred,
But now we're lost, in a world of our own making,
A technological dystopia, our hearts breaking.
