Indeed, which one you decide to mint is a selection of a path: a choose-your-own-adventure between two worlds that might look similar upon first glance, but differ wildly in trajectory — subtle details, at first, foreshadowing divergent futures. There shall be no possibility of return after both concurrent claims complete the public phase.

The music selected for “Mostly Pointless” is a clip from “Harvest Blues (Live)”, excerpted from show 4 of the first acoustic concert series in the Open Metaverse — incidentally the first time a solo piano performance was piped live into OM: https://twitter.com/pandelic/status/1710037245754020300 .

The title takes inspiration from two cultural touchstones: “Mostly Worthless”, an interactive NFT-art piece by 6529er and punk6529, riffing cheekily on a 2023 media headline proclaiming most NFTs to be exactly that; and also, the entire text description of the planet Earth within the galactic encyclopedia-tablet known as the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: “Mostly harmless.”
