Recorded in a single night. No click. Very little editing. Vocals. Acoustic. Electric guitar. I've always wanted to record a stripped back version of a song of mine and this felt like the appropriate opportunity. Co-produced with a long time collaborator Jamey Koch, and co-mixed with my drummer/engineer Hayden Watson. It was half written in Vancouver, and half written in New York in March/April 2023. I'd love to do a whole album like this one day, but for now I have this track. Who knows, could even get a full band version of this song too.
