THE ROTATED IMAGE

The picture in which all four sides have the same importance. When painting, I turn the picture after three minutes, but I proceed in the usual way in painting. This piece should be seen in a digital frame on the wall, I recommend perceiving it as a moving image not a video.

This piece is part of a series of experimental paintings aimed at directing the viewer more to the perception of painting. Realism is a very rich language, but its descriptiveness acts as a barrier and diverts attention from these qualities. The aim of these experiments is to break the connection between painting and objects.
