Born in 1996, Diana Remeikytė lives and creates in Vilnius. Holds BA and MA in Graphic Art from the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

In her first solo show with the Contour Art Gallery, Vilnius, Lithuania in 2021, Diana presented her tufted carpets, watercolours and drawings. The watercolours become the prototype for the carpets – the same motif from transparent paint on paper is transformed into a heavy carpet plane, gaining weight, materiality, and texture.

All the textile works in this exhibition, as well as the prototype used for this NFT, Potato Face (Hand Tufted Carpet. 205x250 cm), were purchased by the MO Museum.
