There are few things in nature that match the beauty of an pristine subalpine glacial lake in the early morning. Lower Pearce Lake does not disappoint. Nestled between the flanks of Mount McFarlane and Mount Pearce this alpine lake glows a stunning turquois as the first rays of the morning sunlight penetrate the cool surface.

This golden August glow is treasure certainly worth pursuing.
