Bomb Story: Dominick Deluca is the owner of Brooklyn Projects, the storied LA skate shop on Melrose. Dom is also like a big brother to Ben and Bobby, having been one of the first accounts to stock The Hundreds in the early 2000s. Dom asked/demanded that we do an Adam friend named Dom Bomb, sharing his physical features. Along with Adam, Madam, and Badam, Dom Bomb is one of the few recurring friends of the Squad.| Background Story: In the early 2000s, all-over-prints reigned supreme in independent streetwear. The trend was a response to the boring solids and understated color-blocking of the dominant skate and urban market. It also followed the footsteps of Nigo's A Bathing Ape camos. Smaller, T-shirt-based brands like ours tapped into the ancient screen-printing techniques of roller-printing, oversized screens, and belt-printing to execute messy patterns over seams, collars, and hemlines. Of all the all-over-prints The Hundreds was responsible for during this time, Cherries was Ben's least favorite. But Bobby loved the kitschy nature, Americana flair, and the rockabilly/punk connotations.
