A well loved puzzle from the early days, first launching on March 12th 1999. Dimensions continues to be an important historical piece of the Enigma. This web artifact is now minted as a one of a kind NFT of The Stone.
The Stone was first released in the fall of 1996 and was soon played around the world as it was seen as an entirely unique online multiplayer game.
In order to access the puzzle content a user would have to acquire a "Stone" at retail inscribed with a code marking that acted as the password into the game, which was the first of its kind.
The Stone Enigma was developed as a continuation of the Publius Enigma found on Pink Floyd's Division Bell Album. A film about the game was released in the 2000's with an official soundtrack by Pink Floyd. The Stone remains playable online to this day on a player hosted site.
All proceeds from this sale will be donated to charities, including World Vision and Salvation Army.
The Stone Enigma Collection has been unearthed from a unique moment in Time dating back to the early days of the net.
These web artifacts have a special place in the origin of online multiplayer games and have a synergy with a certain album from that era. 216 unique puzzles were released and later, The Stone was featured in a film supported with music by Pink Floyd.
Now in the 25th year since their original release select puzzle designs are available to be owned by players and collectors, authorized by The Stone founder and original creator Rod Bruinooge. (Designer credits include J. Waschuk and Howard Gin among others). All proceeds from this drop will go to local charities, including World Vision.
