🌱 The Golden Berries are bright orange colored-small, tart, round fruit, almost the size of a marble. They resembles a mini version of a yellow cherry tomato. They have a sweet tangy taste, similar to that of pineapple and mango. But let’s get one thing straight, the golden berry is not a true berry. It is part of the tomato family and closely related to the ground tomato known as ‘tomatillo.’
🌱 FRESH FACT: One firm rule applies to Golden Berries: Don’t eat them before they’re ripe! With a tint of green, they may contain solanine, a natural toxin in nightshade plants. Eating it could cause diarrhea, vomiting, labored breathing, slowed pulse and even death in high enough doses. ☠️

These little fresh foods were created 13 years ago. A company I worked for needed unique characters for a growing brand. Sadly, the project fell through, and our sector was shut down.
Luckily, the FMC had a purpose! We took our shovels and unearthed the one-of-a-kind produce from the file garden to serve the hungry collectors. Watch as we grow! 🌿
