On July 19, 2021, I witnessed one of the best lightning displays I've ever seen. As a storm chaser since 2015, that's quite a statement considering how long I've been chasing. I watched as a low precipitation (LP) supercell formed over the Santa Rita Mountains south of Tucson and slowly drifted over the desert floor. This was the last hurrah just as the storm finished.
