All we can say is wet and muddy. We trudged for miles in knee deep stinky ass mud trying to find the nearest shower. The water showed high levels of sulfur making just about everyplace unbearable to smell. We eventually came across a village that sat on stilts above the muddy lands. We quickly stumbled our way over to the village ladders, ecstatic to finally reach a solid surface. We quickly learned the hospitality of the Sori when they sprayed us down with fresh water and handed us a bottle of liquor. The Sori are often referred to as “Mudrats”, a bipedal race of aliens who have a similar look to the Earth Muskrat. They thrive in the mud and use it to their advantage. Their diet mainly consists of worms and fish but despite the gross appetite they know how to party. We stayed in the elevated village for two weeks, putting down liquor and Sori mushrooms like it was going out of fashion. We watched various Sori mud games and even joined in on a few. It turns out the long trek through the mud was worth the destination.
