Think I was around 22 in this photo. All that dust blinds the sun and creates that red color, it was literally the color you see in the photo. The equipment below is an evaporator for the air conditioning system in HMWWV. I was the only mechanic who could work on A/C so you can imagine I stayed busy and was loved.
A collection of photographs from time in Iraq (2008-2009). I was a mechanic in the Army but always enjoyed photography, I bought my first SLR while overseas and took these photos of my account over there. I'm not necessarily proud of being in the army and it is part of the reason for my anti-war philosophy but it is a part of my history that I am now sharing with you all.
