First Contact is a series of artworks by Tom Noske

It follows the story of two beings who have come to earth and taken on a humanoid form. We first find them both in the process of coming to grips with this new form for the first time. They haven't harmed us, or given us any reason to believe that they will. But their familiarity frightens us.

The public have been warned not to engage, and the global authorities are mobilizing to take action. But we don't yet know what they are, what they want, or what they're capable of. All we know is that they look like us, they move like us, they even seem to feel like us, but they aren't us? Right? Leaving us with the dilemma of attempting to control something we think we recognize without fully understanding what "it" even is.
