Centro Habana is the city where I live and die every day. This place trapped by the past and abused by the present makes me uneasy. Its buildings and its inhabitants insist on surviving time and space. The sensation of abduction provokes me, I don't want to follow him, but I continue.

In Havana, hardly anyone looks at the sky. When I do it, it's always fast. If I stop, I'm thinking of something. Then I go on and I will probably never remember it. There could be that idea, or the laugh I needed. Photographing skies from the ground became another way to survive this city, to look at myself.
