In 2019 I went on a solo trip to the wonderful city of Tulum in Quintana Roo, Mexico. While I was there, I had a bit of a road trip to Chichen Itza, but I could not be so close to a wonder of the world without visiting it myself. I drove through small towns into the Yucatan to Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is an incredible complex or Mayan Ruins with El Castillo or Temple of Kukulcan at the center of it all.
