This photo was taken from the sunrise point at Kolukkumalai. There, I saw a couple enjoying the morning so passionately that I snapped the photograph without disturbing them. When I showed them the shot, they were overjoyed and posed for more photographs. Later, I sent them a pint. I still remember their names... they were such a lovely couple.
Due to its high altitude, Kolukkumalai in Munnar is home to the world's highest organic tea farms, with the tea produced here having a distinct flavor and freshness. Kolukkumalai is my favorite short-trip destination. I'm not sure how many times I've been there, but I always try not to miss a sunrise. I should mention that each sunrise I saw from Kolukkumala was unique and spectacular! Yes, watching the sunrise from Kolikkumali helps me rediscover myself and inspires me to remain cheerful and spread positive energy. Here are 15 of my favorite sunrise photos from Kolukkumalai.
