This is an original form of digital art. The algorithm I used to create these images is new and produces a fresh and modern aesthetic. In a way, I do exactly what every artist does, copy from reality. But I designed my own brush; I created the process to express myself.

I forgot a long time ago if I’m a programmer who learned how to make art, or an artist who learned how to code. I think that, even when it is not obvious, both fields have a lot in common: there is an intrinsic beauty in the code, the connection between the modules and in the structure of the algorithm. There is beauty in the ideas.

All these photos were processed with a special application I designed and programmed. The technique used is called ASCII art, but with the help of new code libraries I took it to the next level. The resulting images are more pictorial than previous text art works.
