Geometry of Chaos #2
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Year taken: 2018
Edition 1/1
Geometry of Chaos is a small collection of 9 photographs. The common feature of all photographs is the play with architectural forms, composition, geometry and lines to achieve an unusual, futuristic arabesque.
Photographing from the lower angle, the monumentality and dominance of contemporary architecture that strives for heavenly heights is emphasized. Contemporary architecture often reminds us of and we equate it with the hectic way of life in the age of neoliberal capitalism in which efficiency, productivity and money have become measures of the value of human lives. However, the calm and intangibility of the universe looming behind the glass tops and massive skyscraper constructions reminds us that we are still "small under the stars".
