Could air racing in an urban environment lead to aerial commuters? Using competition to advance technology is not new - especially in aviation. If applied toward aerial commuters, Urban Air Racing may reveal the potential and roadblocks of what lies ahead. In this Collection, Mark de Roche explores that concept with the creation of a fleet of twelve 90+mph urban air racers respecting the constraints of any future aerial commuter: They will be roadable and no louder than a car, will fly vertically, their blades will be shrouded or out of reach, and they will fit in your garage - preferably in a single space. The Collection presents twelve NFTs in different livery and one custom livery all representative of the physical craft. In a nod to the history of competition, the livery and numbering evoke the icons of auto and motorcycle racing. Each NFT can be implemented digitally as art, a gaming element, or for advertising in any open-world.
