- I was taking pictures in one of the unurbanized towns of Diyarbakır. I was met with the sight of children joking and laughing with each other. I watched it for a while and remembered my own childhood. Then I started to shoot without disturbing the naturalness of the children. An old uncle passing behind them evoked the connotation of 'new generation - old generation' in me. After taking the photo, I talked to the children and gave them chocolates. It was such a nice feeling to be the owner of such a joyful photo.

Hello everyone. My name is Furkan Dere. I live in Turkey. I am a street photographer. The "People of This World" collection, consisting of 5 photographs, was taken in 5 different cities of Turkey. Colors and people are my main themes in this collection. For this reason, I tried to reflect people's feelings, actions and perspectives on life. When I shoot people, I usually try to capture their emotional moments. I think even one look is enough to strengthen the photo. That's why I try to place the most important element that will make the photo strong, at the right angle in my frame.
