It is hard to decide between my favorite cities for photography, but it always comes down to Hong Kong vs Tokyo. Both have their own unique aesthetics, but only Hong Kong has that true grit. The neon glow of lights cannot be matched even by cities like Seoul. Unfortunately, they have begun taking down the neon lights across the entire city. The photographs depicting the neon glow are slowly fading and they will have become a documentation of the past. 
My last time in Hong Kong I took as many images as I could be depicting the neon lights and atmosphere that once was. I believe that some of these images including this current photography can no longer be obtained. It is a sad sign, walking the back streets and finding the broken glass of neon lights, it tears me down as  I love a good neon glow and Hong Kong won't be the same without it.
