25 shots of the Milky Way over the last three years in my pursuit to improving my photography, particularly nightscapes.

What drew me in to this genre is that while composing the shot, you can't see what your image will look like, you have to imagine it. Imagine what that milky way core will look like behind the mountain, or across the lake until the mirror clicks back down and the image pops up on the screen.

To me that is special.

Creating images was cool, and getting some likes on social media was great, but it's not what kept me going back for more. It is the peace it brings me to be out alone, no one around, no distractions, just me in the dark to clear my head of both negative and positive thoughts. Finding peace.
