Solitude is sometimes necessary for your soul to find the way.
I am a true introvert and cherish alone time. So, this chase was extra special as it was my very first photogenic tornado on a solo chase. Oddly, despite hail crashing down on me, this moment brought me a great sense of Peace and rejuvenation as I filmed this perfect tornado slowly dancing across the grassy Kansas field. Standing solo in the presence of a powerful storm fills me with life force energy in a way that nothing else does. All my troubles fade and I am pulled fully into the present moment, where nothing else exists beyond me and the storm.
April 10th, 2005 near Ogallah, Kansas
I was born gazing into the hypnotic sky with a camera in my hands, ready to capture powerful art that only Mother Nature is capable of conjuring. This is a collection of 12 unique 1/1 Photography NFTs and 1 super rare 1/1 video NFT, representing the past 20 years chasing my dreams through tornado alley in search of those extremely scarce moments when all the elements come together to create the perfect storm.
