Mandarangkal are cannibalistic spirits disguised as beautiful women. They use their charms to seduce men - luring them into having sex in order to kill them and devour their flesh. When their victims are on the verge of orgasm, the Mandarangkal reveal their true form - growing insect-like claws and sharp, pointed teeth to slit their parters' throats. The word "Mandarangkal" means "praying mantis" in Tagalog. And these two predatory creatures share the same unstoppable compulsion - to kill and eat their male sexual partners.
