“Painted Poetry” is a collection of 40 unique 1/1 photographs created over the course of 4 years and was my first step into conceptual photography.

They say a photo is worth 1000 words… but what if you could choose just a few? I have always loved writing. Longer even, than my love for photography. So the idea was simple, take fragments of my writing and create meaningful images around them. And what better way to do it than to turn the human body into a canvas and paint those words directly onto my subjects.

These images are personal, they are powerful, and they are pure. As raw as the emotions they portray. I hope you find yourself somewhere in this Painted Poetry.
