Lagos is a fast paced and vibrant city located in the West African nation of Nigeria.
If you pay close attention, there is always a visual story to be told in the streets of Lagos. One common theme you will find is, small scale entrepreneurship is a way of life for many, in what I call the hustle and bustle of Lagos.
The first 50 images of the Everyday Africa collection cover street photography captured in 2018 in different parts of Lagos.
From the Keke Napep driver, to the young girl selling coconuts, people work hard to put food on their tables. It is also not uncommon to find a story within a story in some of these images.

Everyday Africa is the genesis NFT collection by Still Life and Documentary Photographer, Toni Payne. This stimulating collection covers the hustle and bustle of Lagos, its amazing street food, and its dynamic landscapes. It also takes us hours away to Abeokuta, the city under the rock, where you can climb the Olumo Rock and learn about its rich history while seeing spectacular views. It touches down in the East African city of Nairobi, Kenya capturing moments with people going about their day-to-day and living life as they know it.
