From the artist: This was one of my earliest horse themed works. I created it in early 2012. Mustangs are one of those ubiquitous symbols of the American West. Technically, they are feral horses, being descended from domestic stock, but calling them the wild horses of America definitly has a more romantic ring to it. 'Pinto' refers to the horse's coat and means that it has patches of white and another color.

These images were created using 3D rendering techniques with such tools as Blender3d, Daz Studio, Vue, Sculpris and ZBrush; as well as digital painting techniques using Photoshop and Gimp.
