Famous traveler's wife - Irina Anatolyevna Konyukhova is a professor, Doctor of Law and an international law expert. The future spouses met in 1995. Fedor honestly warned the chosen one about his extreme hobbies, but that didn't frighten her. The wife often went on trips with her husband herself. For the sake of her beloved, Irina Anatolyevna refused to work at the UN and the European Parliament. In 2004, crossing the Atlantic, the ship on which Fedor and Irina sailed got into a severe storm. After returning home, the Konyukhovs erected Nicholas the Wonderworker's chapel next to Fedor Konyukhov's creative workshop. The couple had no child together for a long time, but in 2005 the long-awaited son Nikolai was born. F. Konyukhov’s painter friend presented him a canvas for his 55th anniversary. The canvas stayed untouched for a long time, until once artist decided to paint his wife on it. Firstly he painted her sideways using coal. All in all, it took him two years to finish the painting. Федор честно предупредил избранницу о своих экстремальных увлечениях, но это ее не испугало. Нередко жена сама отправлялась в путешествия вместе с супругом. Ради любимого Ирина Анатольевна отказалась от работы в ООН и Европарламенте. В 2004 году, пересекая Атлантику, судно, на котором находились Федор и Ирина, попало в сильный шторм. После возвращения домой Конюховы возвели часовню Николая Чудотворца около творческой мастерской Федора Филипповича. Долгое время у пары не было общего ребенка, но в 2005 году родился долгожданный сын Николай. Друг-художник подарил холст Конюхову на 55 лет. Холст долгое время стоял нетронутым, пока однажды художник не решил изобразить на нем супругу. Рисовал вначале профиль, углем, дорабатывал 2 года. Так как большую картину не покупали из-за её огромных размеров, Ф.Конюхов чуть позже нарисовал такую же маленькую.

Fyodor Konyukhov is a legendary traveler and a great number of world records (including Guinness World Records) holder. F. Konyukhov is a member of the USSR Union of Artists (since 1983), as well as the Moscow Union of Artists member and an honored academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. Fyodor Konyukhov is an author of more than three thousand paintings, a participant of Russian and international exhibitions. Fyodor Konyukhov's artistic method is based on the creation of the unified nature and human image. He carried out his first expedition at the age of 15, when he crossed the Sea of Azov on a rowing boat. Since then, Konyukhov has made more than 50 unique expeditions and ascents, expressing his vision of the world in paintings and books. 5% of the sales will be donated to Podari.Life charity foundation to save children's lives.
