Sometimes my day to day self denies the existence of something which is beyond my perception. The way this fire emits a halo of light when there is darkness all around makes me feel the presence of the unknown, whom we call God. It's the belief of hope, devotion and purity in this woman’s eyes that makes me believe there exists someone who takes care of those in need, maybe not physically or materialistically but like a friend the divine power pushes the soul and gives hope to those in need.

“Fire”, apart from being the first discovery of humankind is the first intuition for human beings from nature that told them how they are different and superior from others. Then several years passed, igniting a fire for survival slowly became a sport. It symbolized truth, light, passion, hunger and to the very ground level, a need and a necessity. From a cultural and traditional perspective, fire has been a part of our life and as society kept evolving even with the advancement of science, human beings still embrace one of the greatest gift of nature, fire. I remember a fire engulfing my soul, burning out every tinge of anxiety, worries, self-doubt whenever I hold my camera. Each of these photos is part of that ever-igniting dream and have a story behind it.
