This is my first collection, "Lost in the Concrete Jungle". It is a series of moments that I captured in the streets of New York City. I immigrated to NYC in 2005 and started working in a Manhattan restaurant a week later to support my family. I worked a late shift and took the Q train to Brooklyn to go home. On the way home, late at night I saw these vacant streets and avenues. All these gigantic buildings that line up straight and are never ending. Back where I am from, sights like these were only in movies. Filled with inspiration, I started capturing each individual that passed by these scenes. With these photos I was able to capture their stories: the stories of those lost in the Concrete Jungle.
